I know I'm a dork, but I wanted to see if anybody noticed the woodgrain on the last interior pic. I had a piece of 18 ga. laying around with this woodgrain shit on it, and I left it on to preserve the metal. When I was chopping my Ford, I thought it would be funny to leave the design on it. I know, I have no life... [IMG] [IMG]

I know, I know... It's a Chevy. My friend Brandon Winters just finished this chop at Jack's Lowrodders in Fountain Valley, CA. To see more of his nifty metalwork, go to www.lowrodders.com. Also, there is a shop profile and pics of a recent open house at www.ruffrodders.com... Enjoy peoples...

I finally got around to cutting the door edge gap on the driver side door of my Ford. I bugged the shit outta me evry time I got in the car. Also, I couldn't fill in the shaved door handles because I would blister the filler later with the heat of welding the door edge. I bet I trimmed off about 1/8" of material. Sheeeat!! [IMG]

Is that shifter hooked to a stock 3 speed? If so, where can I get one that tall or taller? I have seen the 11" Hurst Indy Kit that converts a "3 on the tree" to a floor shift. JC Whitney has one also.

I know the exact car you are talking about. It was chopped into a hardtop, had a Chrysler grill bar, and the whole headliner was tuck and rolled. Very nice car. Too bad I can't find that issue of Custom Rodder. I wanna say it was mid '90s, but I could be wrong.
You're not intruding at all, that's a nice car. Anybody got a pic?
