Just picked this up this weekend from a friend of mine. I've been trying to buy the car for the last few years and he finally let me have it. Persistance pays I guess. Me and my father picked up on Sat. It had been sitting in this garage for the last 12 years. It was Bill Hondas' (who used to own California Metal Shaping) personal car, he was starting to do the car but unfortunately passed away before really getting anywhere. The car is mint no real rust, few layers of original paint, still has the original top insert, the firewall has original paint on it still. Not sure how I'm gonna do it yet, I have access to a worked flatie with og edmunds stuff or I have a running 241 hemi sitting in the garage. Anyway check out the pics.. Enjoy!

Anyone now exactly what kind of artillery wheel that it is?

I see a great looking street rod in your future. I would opt for the flattie but the Hemi would be nice too. Tough decision.

The wheels appear to be one type of what are commonly referred to as "artillery wheels". There are lots of different wheels from different manufacturers that look similar.

    Super find. Congrats.

  20. The pic of it coming out of the garage looks like a H.A.M.B. calendar shot to me. Way to hang in there. Cangrat's.

    Restore it back to stock?

    nah...
but good idea to keep the roof stock, it leaves the car with options in its future

I've gotten to drag one 32 5 window home in my lifetime and it was a great experience. Enjoy!

    ahhh

so thats what one of those 32 5w floors look like

and all this time I though that the floor was paper thin un-beaded sheet metal with tack welds

wonder where I got that idea....

Congrats on the 5w, it sure looks like a very solid car. When I was young I always dreamed of having a '32 5w, now I''m fortunate enough to own two of them. I vote for keeping it stock height, at least for now and ponder your options. Once it's cut there's no turning back. I plan on keeping one of mine stock height.
