Anyone got any idea of what this radiator shell fits? I bought it for a wall hanger from an old farmer.

Reminds me of a 32 Plymouth that's had some modifications done.

36 Chevy pickup maybe? Not sure if the apron looks right though.

It is very close to my 36 Chevy pickup. However, mine didn't start out as a pickup, but a 1.5 ton and it had the hole for the radiator cap. So the pickup could be correct. I will try and find a picture that shows it.

Ok here's a picture. I did lay the grille back some, dropped it a couple inches, added metal to the sides of the shell to match up with the hood, and stretched the fenders. 3611-20-13.jpg

I think you guys may be right on a 36 Chevy truck. I went on eBay to see pictures of some and discovered I can't afford to hang this one on my wall with my others.

Chevy truck with that lower apron, passenger cars don't have that apron as fenders sweep in and bolt together at bottom (Centre) of grill shell

Passenger car grill also has a stainless surround that fits into the shell. this piece is not repopped so it's easy to tell a glass from steel grill [ and car most likely] .
