I picked up a new to me project panel truck.
48 Ford that has had a considerable amount of work done but due to health conditions it was a stalled project for many years, and now its mine. It may have been on a build thread here, but not sure. I know a few of the guys who worked on it used to be prevalent on the HAMB.
We won't talk about the front suspension. Later model carbed v8, 9 inch rear. Pretty solid body, minimal work needed.

Looking for parts sources, and inspiration. Thinking mild kustom cruiser. Probably work a backnseat of some kind into it. Maybe 2 tone paint (its so huge for any 1 color) little bit of lowring. (2 to 3 inches ). Post anything you've got relevant. I plan to get to work on it here in a couple months. 20230430_173820.jpg 20230430_114210.jpg 20230430_114157.jpg 20230429_142953.jpg

No sir, my cahones aren't that big. It's tapered in 3 directions to boot.

Has anyone done a different running board treatment? I'd like to integrate them to the body roll pan somehow. At the moment I see that as being my biggest body mod. Never cared for how they seem like an afterthought

Pull them in a few inches so they look more like a 48 passenger’s running board? Not saying you weld the part to the door, but maybe make the gap small so it fits smoothly.

    Yo
You might be on to something there. Yeah I don't want to weld it to the door, but maybe a passenger car running board would have most of the contour I'm looking for
