Seems Russian women are on either end of the extreme. They are either really really hot or look like Nixon in a dress. This has to be one of the best photos in the whole thread. Reminds me of the Russian girl I met in college. Her accent alone could make a man melt.

Janet Pilgrim might have been the first "Playmate" but not the first model. The first model featured in the very first edition in Dec. 1953 was Marilyn Monroe...She was "sweetheart of the month".

.....'Wow....'This woman, June Cochran, needs no introduction. Thank you, Al Consoli. I knew June was married to one of the best, Bill Engelhart but, I'm sure a lot of race fans would be just as stunned and saddened to know that this beautiful woman passed away back in May of 2004. June and Linda Vaughn were stars and the most famous Miss Hurst Golden Shifter girls.

I ran into Linda Vaughn a few years back at Don Garlits museum. I thought it was a look-a-like. I figured the woman to be too young to be the real deal. But she was the real deal.

.....'I know the trophy girl is no June Cochran but, it is one of the all-time greatest midget drivers, little Mike McGreevy driving Porter and Moe Goff's 'Easter Egg' car.. Photo taken March 1962 at Capital Speedway's half mile dirt, Sacramento, CA.

Is it just me, or was gravity weaker back then?

The nice thing about these girls, they are beautiful and first class. There are no tatoos on any of them. ( go figure?)

Tatoos and such were socially taboo in the '50's and '60's and I never saw one despite some pretty intense looking in the right places. Body art is a cyclical social phenomenon tied to feelings of individual well-being. Always on the fringes butthe last popular movement was in the rebellious 1920's.
When things inevitably evolve , the tatoo remova lbiz will be the place to be.

yeah..but there are always those that step out of the conformist level..and there were those girls that taboo was their thing,(or attention and thats what you have with models or trophy types) just didnt show on their arm or leg..but if you got to know them better you might find something hidden from normal view..
not everyone followed the rules of the 50's or 60's...just sayin;)

back to cars..if this "Tatoo" thing gets to be what this thread is about ..it will get locked, and we dont need that, now do we? personally, i like mine with no ink, but i realy cant say much or i would be a hipocrate, im not covered in it..but its there

I bet she doesnt have any..yet

  29. What in the hell is up with that guy in the upper left corner of the lower right photo in post #538!?!?! Is he wearing one of those things that gals wore when they were dying their hair or something???

These women are all really unbelievably pretty. Me personally, I like the girls that look like they wouldn't break in half the first time that you squeezed them a little too tight.

The SAD part of it is that about half of these photos couldn't be shown on network TV today! In prime time you can show all of the blood & guts & dead bodies that you want, but you had better not even THINK about showing bewbz or even hint that a girl has those things that rhyme with "nickels". The shots of the guys getting caught checking out the goods... HA! Good luck with showing those in prime time!

I think that it's time that we took America back from those liberal sofites and scrap this "politically correct" BS. Let MEN be MEN and let WOMEN be WOMEN, complete with short shorts, bathing suits, halter tops, knee high boots and high heels...

HUGE fan of this thread though!!! THANKS to all of the posters!
