The girl on the right is the spitting image of the girl that I sat next to in 10th grade English class. And yes, I damned near flunked that class as I was always trying to make time with her

 

I had a round tuit once, tore hell out of it with my BFH trying to get it in a square hole.

 

Who Cares? I have to say that "customized" Volare or what ever it is in the back ground of the one picture make me gage, even though the girls are HOT.

I will say... I saw a 78 Volare painted Hemi orange , steel wheels, dog dish hubcaps, and a bad ass 340....I kinda liked it...late 70’s Super Stock

Yeah, nice girl but a trophy you have to disassemble to get it home?

 

Years ago a Wide Receiver set a record for consecutive games with a catch. They gave him a trophy that looked 12 to 15 foot high. The look on his face was...WTF am I going to do with that??? The next day he announced he was donating it to the Pro football Hall of Fame.

Years ago, my wife and I took a 10 day long trip in our A roadster. We won a long distance trophy at the first run we attended. Yep, had to take the top, and the base off of it, so we could fit it in and around the tank behind the seat, and our tools and luggage.

 

Same here...took my T Bucket to Indy for the drags, went to a Hot Rod show put on by the Cluster Busters where I won the "Door Prize" Yep, It was a door !!!! We used it for firewood that night !!!

 

And his hair was much darker then!
