I believe it is a mandatory rule with the local ACOT club, along with the rear radius rod lasso.

Steve, Drawing came out great! Looking forward to checking it out, Question... How many of the cars from the drawing are still around, I saw Oskies 91 at Willow a few years ago unrestored looked like it still had some Ascot clay on it. Kinda like them better that way than all chromed up and over restored. Any Gump sprint sold at RM Joe's Garage, Were are the rest of these cars?

The Edmunds VW Midget & Yellow Kurtis Offy both came Down Under. The owner has not yet brought them out for a Run or display, Speedy.

    Brian,

Thanks again for your postings. At 2:00 minutes you will notice car owners Ted and Charlie Famagetti [#6 Allen Heath]. You will notice "A-1 Excavation" on the hood - I work with the sponsor's son. Us "left coasters" love the footage. Thanks! :)

I was there that night. The 35 was the Gudknect Offy. It had rolled over the previous night and crushed the wing. This might of also been the night my dad flipped over the 3rd turn wall in the #19 Abernathy car.
He landed on his wheel, and rolled to a stop just before the big iron gate. Being ten at the time, I figured he meant to do that...

Johnny Mann was driving the badger that night wasn't he?

JFK Stadium in Philadelphia, PA held 100,000+ people. A crowd of 5,000 and the place looked empty. .... For many years the Army vs Navy football game was held there.

This race was most likely promoted by George Marshman .... Bobby Marshman's Dad.

In a earlier race there Bing Metz flipped the Pete Petraitis Chevy II (formerly one of Bob Stroud's Honker II's) and landed about 12 rows up into the grand stands.

Ken, in the early 60's Jiggs Peters ended up in the third turn seats as well! Ken Brenn's car.
