.....'Enclosed are the results of the March 23rd, 1975 USAC Sprint Car race at the Reading (PA) Fairgrounds with driver, car owner and car numbers. They correspond with Rich's (RABs32) post #9983 & #9985 and Buildy's post #9991. 'Complete with Tom Rose getting upside down qualifying Dick Hammond's #56. Also, for Spike; I had mentioned before that Fred Linder's Vitte #68 was similar to the R & H Farms car from the midwest that Ron Shuman swept the '77 Western World and the Pacific Coast. You'll notice the shocks on the Vitte car are mounted almost straight up and down, while the Wayne House car's shocks were cantilevered. So Spike, do you know if Lee Osbourne built the #68 car, since it's very similar to his Stauffer #81? In House's ad, he claims he built the famous R & H Farms car.

Rab?......is that billy casella in the 29?.......in the early 70`s the seymours brought that car to star speedway in nh ,not to race it but to test run the motor. I got the chance to start it for them and remember how strange that car felt. It is one of those smile memorys that came to me when i saw those pics. thanks for sharing all your pics

I`m pretty sure it was Joe Saldana in the #29 at Reading that day.

I checked my USAC Yearbook and Billy Casella only had one start in USAC sprints in 1971.
He was still running Super Sprints in Central PA in 1971.

Gordon Wooley took over the Weinberger car after White went over to Fike and before Gordo took over. Seymore got the car next with Lundy, Riegel up. Don't know where it went after Seymore, but the # 37 car above looks substantialy different than the original. Not saying Grant King couldn't have updated it (?) Old Bill will probably know.

White claimed it only weighed around 1400#, which given the technology and materials of 1963 it was a real featherweight.

Regarding the Chariot/ White car, Charlie sold it to Pete Johnston of Northfield CT about 1971. Pete ran it a year or two in URC .I believe his 4 bar was a King car. Old Bill??
The Seymour family is currently putting the finishing touches on their famous Stapp 29 sprinter. Hope to see it soon.

I dont think so............. This is the ex-Wilbur Hawthorne-Bob Burriss driven shortened Kurtis roadster, that went to a fellow by the name of Dave Humpe, when Mr. Hawthorne bought a new Trevis-Craft sprinter,# 35
driven by Burriss, then later by Billy Cassella, and made famous in central Penna. by western Pennsylvania's Bobby Adamson! John S.:D
