Got this old late 1949 13 ft. Willis Flying Saucer last year off eBay. Have done just a few things to it (name, striping, etc. etc.). I have less than $3,500.00 in it. I got it to tow behind my '51 just for fun. I had it at one boat show last summer and one car show in the fall. At the car show with over 65 entrys I took "Most Outstanding In Show". That was determined by the most votes from the public. Overheard a few comments (from some antique car owners) like "bet there will be a few cars next year towing boats".
The car and boat together get a lot of smiles and thumbs up when on the road.
A lot of fun for not much money.

I picked this one up a couple months ago. Hand made in 1950 by a guy who lived on Deep Creek lake in Maryland.

Unlimited hydro running twin Ford S.O.H.C. engines. It went like the hammers of hell down the straights, but handled like a slug in the turns......
