Yup. One of my favorites. Got the whole setup as a holiday gift sometime around 1967. I think after that stage I moved on to building model cars. Sent from my SM-G950U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

How about some space art?I bought this print, and a book about the artist's work at an estate sale. The original was done as an illustration for the story "The Conquest of Space", published in 1949, in Astounding Science Fiction magazine. If you get a chance to look through "The Art of Chesley Bonestell", take it, or look him up on Google image. He did a lot of rea lly cool sci-fi, and architectural art.
ncxt is a lenticular 3-d lunar scene, a poster celebrating the twelfth anniversary of something in the soviet space program, and something I bought because it was in one of the picture frames in a lot I bought at an auction.A friend of mine who was a huge Star Trek fan, found out what it is for me. It is an original advertising poster that was made to be put up at sci-fi conventions, before the series started. You can see they didn't have all the details of the show worked out at that point, there are rocket flames coming out the back of the Enterprise. I have seen another one of these in a picture of someone's shop on the Hamb.
Thanks { LEPUS } for sharing your toys, and art collection. As a 60s kid, I have always liked the way we visioned the future may look like back then. I loved the Forbidden Plant, and Robbie robot from the 1956 movie. The frist picture is the original art work. I used it for my inspiration of a sketch I did in 06. The old cell phone picture cut off about an inch from both sides. lol

ZZ Top Chop, the car is a Manoil toy that I restored. I made the wheels out of stainless steel, and they actually curve inwards from the rim, then out to a point in the center. T he tires are o-rings with a flat ground on the outside diameter
