Chevy57Dude, you might wanna think about buying a '57 Chevy. I think you might like it. Did you make it down to Jalopyrama this year. I don't remember seeing your car.
What happened to Gary ? Is he ok? His posts are some of the best!
Loudbang, please tell me what car this is from post 200750?
Frazer-Nash 'Mille Miglia' maybe 1951, I'ld say

Search google for image.
"Frazer Nash Mille Miglia Sebring".
Yes, the 1957 Chevrolet is quite a looker now that you mention it. I'll take it under advisement!
Dad had a heart valve replaced that weekend. We had a room reserved, a car trailer arranged, etc. So we had to back out and stay close to home. He's all good now. Next year for sure.
Could this be the Cooks Corner on Santiago Canyon and Trabuco Canyon ?
So much hating around here......
The first photo looks to be (I think) Dayton Speedway; probably around 1968. A great color shot.
The last photo is Marshall Teague's Sumar streamliner being unloaded at Indianapolis in 1956. Most of the bodywork and the canopy was removed during Practice just as it had the year before when Jimmy Daywalt drove it. But it missed the show in '56. Ultimately Teague was killed in this car at Daytona in early 1959.
Hmm...Where to park the DeSoto.....
To each his own but I blocked him a long time ago. He thought he owned this thread and he was the only one that mattered.
That is the look of complete joy over trading in the prior year`s model (Ignore button is on your left)
Joke in there somewhere...………..
