This ad must have rankled Ford somewhat. They didn't have presses big enough to bang out those one piece tops until the 37 model year. I think that's the point the ad was making. They were ahead of Ford.

To me it's not that ugly, plus I'm not driving it. To me there's nothing '65 and older that's ugly because of a lot of the stuff that's made now.
