That's a big trailer for a Chevy wagon.
These are terrifying!

Where was the first attached photo taken, Rootie? The cars look to be big cars but they also have some really small wheels. Is there any more info on this one?
And the second shot is of Tony Bettenhausen's wrecked Belanger car at Sacramento in 1950. He went through the guardrail hitting several trees before killing one spectator and injuring a couple of others. The spectators were apparently standing behind the guardrail in an area where they weren't allowed and had been run off a couple of times before the race started but came back. Lujie Lesovsky totally rebuilt the car after this changing just about everything on the car. Today the car is displayed in the IMS Museum and is listed as a Kurtis-Lesovsky chassis.
Holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Classics, every single one.
Sydney Allard ??
The low angle of the shot makes it look out of proportion, but those are midgets lined up at pre-war Gilmore Stadium. If it weren't for the obstructions you could probably see the famous Hollywood(land) sign on the hills in the background.
Lowered '56 4 door...Looks to be 5-6" Olds Fiesta's too.
