    That makes perfect sense since now that you mention Belanger the man on the left is George Salih. And isn't that an intercooler feeding the intake on the left side of the engine? If so, that makes the photo a little earlier than I thought because (I think) they quit running the supercharged Offy after the 1949 season. Belanger bought the car toward the end of that season.
