Haha....just noticed the Cougar in the grille.
Back in the day when they thought be thrown or jumping from the car was safer then seat belts even though seatbelts had been used in WWII aircraft. Most sports car racing didn’t use seat belts until late 50’s to early 60’s. I suppose it was also a macho thing to do.
Dam, did that bolt just fly into my shirtfront ?
They're ruining it !
The 1962 photos were pre Mustang with a Cougar emblem
Here is another Mustang
... Trying to find out the year and make of this car ...
... Any help is appreciated ...
31 Dodge ?
I'm gonna take a guess that this photo is in Fullerton, Ca. Looking north on Harbor Blvd, at Commonwealth.Street sign on the right says the City of Los Angeles straight ahead with the City of Placentia to the east and the City of Buena Park to the west. The airport is west of this intersection which was built in the early 1920's and is still there and very active.
... Just might be ... Thanks
Very well could be. Although the Fox Theater is not visible (on Chapman/Harbor) a few blocks up. You can see the trees at Hillcrest Park. Harbor Blvd used to be Spadra Blvd.
Pretty risqué at the time.
I am not so sure it's the bicycle you have been pedaling.
I was too busy looking at the Studebaker 2R shop truck.
SEATBELTS IN PLANES WERE DIFFERENT. YOU DIDN'T WANT TO CATCH UP TO YOUR CHEERIOS.
