built FORD TUFF !!!
Always loved this Bantam Coupe, Harold Hungerford also ran Bonneville, driving the San Chez Studebaker. As he told me, "I flew that Studebaker", nasty crash !
Wonder how they're hangin' now days...
This is indeed a "Vintage Shot", It is Noel Mauer from Dubuque, Iowa. He still has this car. I believe he chopped it in a high school shop class in the mid fifties with a hack saw blade with pins slid through the hole on each end while a buddy pulled and pushed from the other end. There is a Youtube video of him telling the story.
The answer from a previous post :
The "little Old Lady" is one of my favorites, I haven't seen the car or Harold around for a while, though I don't get out like I used to.
Enjoyed talking to him at the old Autobooks (before they moved) on Saturday mornings! A very good guy.
Marty, do you know what happened to Marv's Nova? I can't get a hold of Nancy, been years now.
Wondering if somebody else is racing it.
Remember when "A frame" buildings were futuristic?
Cool little Crosley!
A picture found in a Hoarders house in Canada. From youtube.
