It's about timing;If this is in the 50s or 60s,then the cars on the road with this hotrod would have drum brakes=lite hotrod with only big drums on rearend ,but no front brakes can stop as good as the other cars for the most part. Today to run no front brakes on any hot rod,with most cars around it having four wheel disk= high danger of crash. Death Wish

I should have worded my response differently. You are correct the integral cab option ran 61-63, however, the 64 cabs appeared the same as 65-66. The the difference was in the floor, that was lowered, and didn't have the step well in the door opening. Ford used the 64 cabs on the 4 wheel drives in 65-66 because of the raised floor. BTW, I sold a 64, and bought a 65 that I have been driving since 73.

 

Don't know when this car was built, it was in the first Street Rod Pictorial of 1969. Truman Jensen was/is the owner.

 

I had a 63 and I used to scavenge 61-66's for parts inside and out. I knew fairly well what worked and didn't between the years. I never really noticed the missing stepwells in the newer truck cabs.I thought the only "big" difference was the dash.
