I was going to mention the socks, but I thought maybe I was the only one seeing that.
I got pretty good at it ....in both automatic trans and car 4- SPD... even got fairly good at doing it in a old 500 c.u in. Cadillac Fleetwood Limo ,my party car, that I had....you need alot more room and when it starts coming around it seems like it takes forever then it just whips on around.... I did learn that a old 1966 Saab , 2 stroke 3 cylinders 3 carburetors , doesn't do so well at handling a "Rockford" ,oh ya a 4spd. on the column also, did OK till the whip....when it come on around it whipped right onto its top and just kind of spun like a top...engine still running I climbed out and a friend and I rolled it back on its wheels and kicked out the shattered windshield and got the hell out of there ...sounded like a chain saw buzzing down the road.........
