How many remember seeing freight trains consisting of freight cars, instead of flat cars loaded with shipping containers?
The grassy knoll is the grass on the left side of the pic. BTW... my wife's Grandmother worked for William Zapruder at his clothing manufacturing company. She went with him to see the motorcade, but she was in the crowd on Houston St. and did not walk up on the grassy knoll where he took the famous 8mm movie. Before she died she told me about the FBI and others who came to the clothing factory and questioned Zapruder and her briefly.

Sometimes I've been able to make out the name of a street or a business name & address on one of these photos and I'll do "Google Street View" hoping to match it up just to see how much that it has changed or if I can recognize the buildings. 90% of the time I'm really disappointed to see that they've bulldozed the buildings and replaced them with "big box" stores or a CVS Pharmacy, the women and the men have gotten fatter, the cars and trucks are all imports or boring SUVs, the interesting advertising signs have all been replaced with the "aluminum box with the bubble" type of sign....
