funny, !! guy taken a picture, with his flip phone...
There are 2 57 Mopars farther up the photo so it's a least a gathering in 57 ....I'd guess later so that 3-2 set up was out for a time. Looks like he kept the radio by the dist cover.
We were talking about the Buick. I know what a '63 Dodge is.
The first attached photo is of the great Gus Schrader. I'm guessing the photo would have been taken around 1940.
And the second photo from 1963 shows Roger McCluskey's wrecked Konstant Hot Watson roadster. Note the fiberglass nose. Unlike the other roadster builders A.J. Watson embraced fiberglass early on. He stated that only his first roadster for Flaherty had a aluminum tail before pulling a mould and switching to glass. And around 1960 he started making the noses from fiberglass as well. As near as I can tell all of the other builders like Kuzma, Lesovsky, Trevis, Epperly, Ewing, etc. stuck with formed aluminum tails and noses.
In our day, they grow'ed their own ...... June Wilkinson..
that's a rarity that was on the first 50 (?) t-birds. factory pieces.
