Truck load of washing machines. HRP
There is indeed a car in the picture, you are a find and up standing member of this board and follow all the rules. The painting is so real you can almost smell the aroma of the Deluxe crapper
Wasn't this some sort of attempt to go cross country without getting out of the car? Danny, is that your Uncle Fred? I wonder if that antenna/shower gets the Grand Ole Opry?
I spotted that little plate on the fender, says Louie Mattar, pretty famous guy and car.
Here is a Google Image search with a TON of photos and history.
For some odd reason I'm attracted to this one.
That's Louie Mattar's car again. I have a book all about Louie and his car.

That sure reminds me of my old Banner camper, same hitch setup, same paint scheme.
Rootie, I'm not sure who the driver is but could this photo have been taken at Darlington? It looks like a banked turn in the background and the car has pavement tires on it.
I believe that is Dick Rathmann in Pat Clancy's car at the 1956 Dayton Ohio race. Here's a shot of Gene Force's ride taken the same day from the opposite direction. You can see the stairway up to the scorer's stand in both pics.
And I forgot to mention this midget photo. That's mechanic Herb Porter with Ronnie Householder somewhere; likely just before WWII.
I can’t hardly imagine why.
