    This was taken at the Old Bridge Speedway drag races. Old Bridge was a 1/2 asphalt oval in central N.J.. They held drag races on the front straightaway, 1/12 th mile. This shot was taken on the back stretch. You can see the fence for the oval track ( the red stripes ) Modified cars pitted in the infield, stockers in the oval track pits outside the fence. You can see a few there. I think this Model A ran a hopped up 4 cyl. Old Bridge was so much fun. 77.JPG

    Take a look at this photo...
    ...notice how the waistlines are all up at the waistlines and not halfway down the backsides? and no underwear in site....

  24. We drove down that street in 71, pissed as newts and going fast enough that two hubcaps departed the car. ( We didn't go back for them).
    I don't know when it was closed to traffic, but it will always be a special memory.
    Flying back to TX, we were lucky enough to a see a large missile launched from Vandenburg AFB. It seemed to be right beside us at 43,000ft. It is one of the most impressive sights I have ever seen.
