Outstanding group of CC pics ....!

 

This was taken at the Old Bridge Speedway drag races. Old Bridge was a 1/2 asphalt oval in central N.J.. They held drag races on the front straightaway, 1/12 th mile. This shot was taken on the back stretch. You can see the fence for the oval track ( the red stripes ) Modified cars pitted in the infield, stockers in the oval track pits outside the fence. You can see a few there. I think this Model A ran a hopped up 4 cyl. Old Bridge was so much fun.

 

All those photos of the various car clubs and nobody showed the club that struck fear in all the other clubs, the baddest of them all.....The Dingfods!!
