    Bayer & Frietas dual Chevy digger. I remember when Hayden Proffitt took a turn in the seat of this dragster, prior to going to work for M/T and the Pontiac Super Stocks. I'm thinking this was about 1960-1961...

    I've always been a big fan of the Indy 500 and I look forward to it every year! Just compare the old roadster days steering wheel compared to the steering wheels of the modern day Indy racers with enough technology built into them for a lunar landing .... Indy Racer Cockpit copy.jpg

    From My home town of Secaucus, NJ. Henry was a saloon owner. AT the time Secaucus was a pig farming community with 50ish stock feeder farms for the NYC market. And the NJ Turnpike was doing emminent domain to rid the town of farms and Henry wanted to look out for his patrons. This picture dosen't look like Secaucus.
