It is indeed, with his 8 x 10 view camera. That's an 8" x 10" negative. Pretty good resolution, that size!
Wes Morgan drove a #57 Chevy in the '61 Daytona 500. This might have been him.
How about some color ! Growler 1 was a maroon 41 Plymouth Coupe.
We moved to Houston from Dallas in August of 1964 and although I was 8 years-old I can remember how great the divided highway was since much of I-45 between Dallas and Houston was still two lane. It was a VERY busy highway and the trip made me VERY nervous! I had deep dread of dying in a head-on collision.
I love pix of old towns. We head to Northern New England to see some of the best from time to time. Some of the towns are time capsules. Jim

Bob Hirohata. A very famous Merc in the customs circles, Apparently he was the first guy to take the"dip" as they called it, out of the doors on the side. I saw color pics of this car years ago -wow. Wonder where it is now?
