I used to work at this address, Mission Chevrolet had been in business for 51 yrs. when Richard O’Donnell purchased the franchise in November of 1989 and moved the Buick franchise that he was a part of since 1964 to make this O’Donnell Buick-Chevrolet.
On a Sunday in Nov 2014, I snapped a picture of the sign truck removing the Chevrolet Signage down. 50 yrs. after Dick O’D’s legacy as the last new car dealer in San Gabriel came to a close.
Mr. O’D sold the dealership in 1992, but was still a very big part of the business.

My OT, 69 Camaro wears a Mission Plate Frame and My equally OT 87 V8 Regal wears an O’Donnell one as well, both of chrome and die cast metal construction. Met many people there over the past 4 decades. One lives with me .
