    The "41 Caddy" plate is a UK reg and modern. When you register an old car in the UK it gets an older unissued reg from the era. (sort of). Sparcely populated Scotland had lots of unissued registrations, so lots of older card registered in modern times get a Scottish registration. The S in the middle of the letters is the giveaway. The plate is not strictly legal and has been embellished with the "41 Caddy" top line. More recently the reg numbers used are not from the Scottish numbers, for example my recently registered 41 pickup has been allocated an XXV reg.
