March Meet 1960 Warren and Coburn
Joe Barzda in his Stretched Kurtis Kraft Midget , 1st to run a v8 chevy in a sprint car in the east.
That is a very early Daimler 22hp. I have another picture of what might be the same charabanc.
That one is a Stoddard-Dayton. Distinctive radiator style.
At a guess the tow truck is a late '50s GMC from the period when they used Pontiac V8 engines.

Forward control Dodge truck must be kind of unusual?
Ninety Mile beach in the far north of New Zealand. Vehicle access to the beach is still the same as it always was; via a stream bed. I rode it on a Laverda 750 motorcycle in 1975. The beach is regarded as a public road so the road rules apply. Later pictures just for reference. Obviously washing vehicles after running the beach is a must.
