Still there in YV, dry and safe, awaiting its turn. He has around 200 cars, most of them O/T, but some are H.A.M.B.-able. :)

I have that same Racer Brown cam decal NOS in my MG scrapbook and repro's on the car. That's what we ran in 62-65.

    5000 pages WOW! Thanks everyone.

    Hey Pat,

Great eye on that tiny Racer Brown Cam sticker. We installed a Racer Brown Cam in the 58 Impala when those cams first came out of Los Angeles. The decal was on the bottom of the rear window, when we no longer raced in the A/Stock class with the 58 black Impala. It was a lot faster than stock, obviously.

But, now the rear window had the sticker to show everyone...watch out. The side rear panel windows showed the C&O Stick Hydro decal to keep those pesky 55-57 Chevy cars in place. That was in 1960 and lasted until I sold the Impala in 1965.

In Long Beach, the Racer Brown sticker and C&O Hydro sticker meant business and most everyone in our cruising area knew it. (Teenage pride) But, when cruising outside of the area, people thought it was just for show, until...

Sometimes stickers were real with surprising results.

Jerry Unser at Milwaukee in the Sumar roadster in 1958. He missed the show.

And that looks like it might be twin brother Louie helping him in the cockpit.

Edit: Now that I think about it that might be Louie standing at the right rear although I'm not sure.

You're right, that is Louie standing behind and I'm pretty sure that's Bobby leaning over the cockpit.

Dang! - I wish I could've had this back when I was 16. I would mount this on the top of the seat, right next to me - and cruised with my arm around their "shoulders" and watch my buddies' jaws drop right to the ground!!!

You can tell a motor manufacturer is really struggling when this is the best they can do to give their cars the latest quad light look. Shame.
