Doug Whiteford on his way to winning the 1952 Australian Grand Prix at Mt Panorama Bathurst driving his Talbot-Lago T26C
Swi, thanks for the ride!
And all those Cobras. In my opinion the most desirable, unobtainable, car ever built.
Never too many Cobras
In Jan.1974 I had the chance to buy a '65 427SC, red, black interior, with 5000 miles for $9000.

Blow Fly Inn
Named due to being next to the St. Johns Landfill, stopped there for a beer a few times in the early 70's after taking a load of junk to the dump.
This last pic was taken in New Zealand in the early 1970s - typical fading of that era of pictures. I posted it on a local Facebook page and some recognised it, including the son of the owner at the time. The car is a New Zealand assembled (sourced from Canada) Fairlane, all with the 332 and three on the tree. One of the last big cars to be assembled here - we went to compact Fairlanes soon after.
On the last two pages: Austin, Porsche, Triumph, MG, Ford Popular, Talbot-Lago and AC, lots of AC...
How can anyone bare this overload of off-topic material......
I can, I enjoy!! Thanks for posting great cars guys!
Try not being a smartass little punk, try following Ryan's rules and NOT FUCKING UP THIS THREAD AND SITE FOR EVERYONE ELSE?
I for one do not CARE at all what you think.I say this ONCE the I will NOT ARGUE with you!
Don't like it, start a European car site, and that pretty much goes for everyone DELIBERATELY going out of their way at this point to post OT stuff.I have contributed thousands of images here, as many as anyone, but it's almost all repeats now, I would not blame Ryan for ending it. Most of you aren't even trying.
Here's this FAKE modern photoshop again for the 500th time.
