  2. The location, Lyttelton the port of Christchurch New Zealand, the ship, the scow Talisman, and the approximate date (circa 1959) are known. What is not known is where the ship is taking a deck cargo of cars, and why. Lyttelton c 59 ship Talisman.jpg

    Blaspheme. Some times I would wear my "State of Shasta" T shirt to SCTA events The border was just south of Monterey. San Jose might want to stay south. But we want to keep our water. Google Owens Valley.

    Rootie, by the tread pattern that must be one of the Goodyear designs that was never raced. The car is the Watson that Foyt turned over to Ebb Rose at Indianapolis and that won the 500 the next year after being rebuilt by Eddie Kuzma. But I don't recognize the venue at what appears to be a tire test. Could this be in October of 1963 when Foyt went 200.4 MPH at the Goodyear test track in San Angelo, Texas?
