    Wallace, North Carolina is about 45 minutes southeast of me. My guess is that the young sergeant was either on leave or stationed at nearby Fort Bragg.

    Could you imagine some Honey jumping up on the hood of your car today?
    Holy Smokes!- We'd puke for fear the dang thing would be bend and we'd never find another one-and the gal in the second pic-reefing away on that beautiful original hood ornament-for crying out loud Mable-get down off that car!

    I have an old college bud who is doing something similar with Volvo and MG/TR parts. Should be ready for prime time in June of this year! Gary

    Wow... I made many Texas fishin' trips with my Grand Dad in a Buick like that pulling a boat about like that. Good times!

  19. Who can remember what they smashed up at their school fundraiser for 5 cents or 10 cents a hit ? I remember hitting a 1937 Ford, a few old Prefects and Austin A40s. Quite a few Holdens as well.
