    That is the toll gates at the southern end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in late 50's. See the lane change sign on the right. They would change over lanes heading into the city and use them as additional lanes outbound for peak hour traffic.

    Anybody else think they are planning a bridge?

    Looks like the 1958 Indy winner champion getting a new 58 olds. One of the greatest drivers ever !

    How strange that #1 cylinder is at TDC, while that other 2 are in the middle??? As I recall these were also 2 cycle.

    Yep, pretty new bridge abutment.

    Not sure what the ramp to the left of the "canoes" ramp might be for, or why there're some buses there, but the "canoes", being on a tether, would always swing to the same ramps.
