    Not commercially related to the car company that bore their name, Louis and Arthur Chevrolet ventured into aero engines in 1928. Interesting engine; Great Depression killed Chevolair as a company. I believe they were test flown, at least.

    Lots of inline and vee aircraft engines were inverted, back in those days. One of the benefits was that it placed the narrowest part on top, increasing the pilot's field of vision. They were all taildraggers back then...!

    Yep, I think your right the Keck car had a vertical grill where'as the Tuffy car had a horiz. grill.
