    I've seen old wagon ''trails'' like this a few times, but NEVER would have thought somebody would attempt this idea...looks like a slight outcrop of rocks is just ahead of his right front tire!!! The odds of 'backing out' are worse than going forward!

    I have seen the flying crane, but I would STILL like to see the actual saving of the "Cat"

    and what about the :eek:guy that opened the door first?:rolleyes:

  16. INTERESTING side note: Both the Tucker Sno-Cat and the Erickson Air-Crane were both made in the Medford area where I live. It makes sense to have one rescue the other....

    to my knowledge, NO ONE has stated the crane SAVED the dilemmao_O

    Not commercially related to the car company that bore their name, Louis and Arthur Chevrolet ventured into aero engines in 1928. Interesting engine; Great Depression killed Chevolair as a company. I believe they were test flown, at least.
