I have a picture of Norn's old ride
from when those two where touring through
Louisiana at the local Ford dealer in around 1967.

  3. around 1974, I built a chopper with 10' fork extensions that would extend to 12'. I had a friends dad modify my frame to give more caster so the frame would be more level. It ended up looking really good. The problem was that I was not able to ride it. You could not balance or steer it. oh well

Bernie Larson built this Chevy powered 39 Ford in 1957 after a stint in the Navy. He still owns it today! Bernie doesn't race anymore, but he does bring the car to cruise nights in the summer. This photo at Thunder Valley

This 1950 Mercury was Ron Roe's first car purchased when he was fourteen. His friend John installed a 50 Olds engine and overhauled in auto mechanics class. The car was nosed and decked with frenched in 54

The 1934 Ford John and Ron Roe purchased looking a lot like it does in the above picture. Ron later bought John's half and made some changes. They included newer heads a three two setup and slicks.

The Flying Dutchman was an area car that went on to national race recognition. Al Vander Woudie raced various cars under this banner for years. 1967

This picture was taken on Sunday afternoon January 22, 1967. I had just had John Holland weld up my equal length header pipes to flanges I bought at Teal's body shop the day before.

I'm curious why the Red Cross flag is there? I'm guessing it's about 1958. The Hawaiian flag isn't being flown below the US flag so I would assume its before statehood.

Did he volunteer for that because he kind of looks like he's being punished.

Based on that sign board behind him, I'd bet he was a barker for the "Pilgrims Club".
Maybe it's an Amish strip club!

A belated Happy Birthday to Jimi, shown here on his chopped '64 Panhead, 1974. He would have been 74 yesterday, Nov 27.

On the "sundance channel" there is a great documentary about Steve and the making of that movie Lemans. Worth a look if you can get that channel.
