Many many moons ago my nephew and I carried a Browing 50 cal. machine gun down the sidewalks of Seattle with his dad right behind with an ammo belt and two ammo cans in to Warshal's Sporting Goods/surplus store. His dad [my B.I.L.] was selling this piece to Warshal's for display. Different times indeed.

  3. These guys are hysterical - they used to come up to the St. Paul Rodeo every once and a while.

Oh yeah!----Remember when Smith Griswold (L.A. city councellor) said to just get rid of all backyard incinerators? He claimed it would cure all the smog problems!!
It made an instant millionaire out of J.C. Agajanian---He owned all the trash collector trucks!

The go kart picture reminds me of the days when my family raced go karts. We had a Simplex kart with a 8hp Power Products engine. Our kart was not as "modern" as the others on the track , but we still had fun. It was a family thing. We would hang the kart out of the trunk of Dad's '61 Pontiac Catalina and take off for one track or another. Of course we couldn't do that unless there was enough change in the pickle jar that we put money in during the week so we could play on the weekend.

  10. Swi66 - The pic of Dick Sargent with the '66 Caprice (?) reminds me of the 6 Million Dollar Man's Christmas special my family had to suffer through. Dick was a chauffeur, driving a big 'ol black Lincoln 4 dr HT.

  20. Keef - Thanks! Did I get the car right? That's more important.

Im pretty suprised that a bunch of the custom guys havent commented on this incredibly cool steering wheel! This thing should have its own thread so we can learn more about it.

    Ok, I'm tired.
Don't want to be a hog, I found a treasure trove of photos here, have at it.
