Neat Modified...pre war Crosley frame at least front portion, rear being coil overs may have been from 50's Hotshot/Super Sports. Crosley front axle, springs, wheels and tires [wow, tread on them!]...Crosley steering box converted to center steering [hope there is some kind of bolting threw them wood blocks] and pre 48' or so Crosley seat....Wisconsin engine [v4, about 25 hp and 2-1/2 times the weight of a Crosley engine] with maybe just a clutch as with the torque of the v4 and the Crosley 5.17 [some were 5.12] rear gear trans may not have been needed..Top speed depending if engine run with governor would be about 35mph, with out the governor till she blows!!

Ford GT40 was supposed to be one of the lowest cars ever, only 40 inches high.

This one was only 27 inches high:

They only built a single V16 Peerless. Did not realize it ran at Muroc - that is news to me.

Ok, I'll ask, Does anyone know what this is? I see Packard wheels, a body that from the windshield back resembles an Auburn Speedster, some GM'ish looking features as well toward the front..
