    Neat Modified...pre war Crosley frame at least front portion, rear being coil overs may have been from 50's Hotshot/Super Sports. Crosley front axle, springs, wheels and tires [wow, tread on them!]...Crosley steering box converted to center steering [hope there is some kind of bolting threw them wood blocks] and pre 48' or so Crosley seat....Wisconsin engine [v4, about 25 hp and 2-1/2 times the weight of a Crosley engine] with maybe just a clutch as with the torque of the v4 and the Crosley 5.17 [some were 5.12] rear gear trans may not have been needed..Top speed depending if engine run with governor would be about 35mph, with out the governor till she blows!!

    They only built a single V16 Peerless. Did not realize it ran at Muroc - that is news to me.
