Vintage shots from days gone by!

EK ute in the background and a mid-60's bug, black plates ............ on a beach. I'm guessing somewhere down the west coast of Victoria, one of the big wave surfing hot spots in the late 60's to mid-70's.
Anyone know for sure?

That's the Cooper Maserati of Maurice Trintignant being driven to Riverside for the 1960 United States Grand Prix. For some reason the cars were kept several miles from the track and had to be driven to the track each day. Can you imagine Formula One cars driving on the SoCal freeways today?
