I was thinking the same. would like to know some more about it! Maybe its just me but I cant find anything on the web, anyone??
I wondered where you had got to. There are several images on the net, but no information.
I was looking at a 1961 Groveport-Madison High School Yearbook (where my Dad taught school from 1959-61) and really liked this picture of Ralph Smith on the supporters/advertisers page. Look close and you'll see he is holding a cigar in his right hand and a handkerchief in his left hand ready to dry perspiration from his forehead. I can hear Ralph say with a big smile as you walk in his showroom, "Howdy folks! Can I put you in a new Chevrolet today?"
Great stuff, when women were women.....sigh
Do you think that dodge truck had a Chevy motor in it to make that jump =)?
Me and some family out for a bike ride . Early 70's were definatly different.

Is that radical fade-away thing a one-off ?
We used to have a guy come through my neighborhood with one of these in the early 60s. It was a fun ride and we would all clamour for that coveted front seat because you got to pull the string that rang the bell.
If you are speaking of the "round door Rolls Royce, then YES....one of a kind. Here are the before and after shots....
