    Hey Cut55, many thanks for the link to this interesting site. It is not limited to So Cal. I looked up the early surroundings from my youth in Northern New Jersey.

    First try on posting. Photo of factory is the original Detroit Hudson plant in the early teens; the building still stands. The swanky convertible is a 35 Hudson delivered to a starlet, posed in a neighborhood near the Hudson plant.

    Can anybody ID this little rig? Not standard issue "artillery" wheels but kinda looks like a Chevy "Bowtie" on the hubcaps, then again...

    Chalk Hill in Woodland Hills. @ Ventura and Winnetka looking west up Ventura Bl. Taft High (I graduated there in '73) is on the left.
