Can anyone come up with a year for this pic? The glider appears to have spoilers deployed on the upper surfaces of the main plane. Just a little curious as I know multi use spoilers (i.e.; 'lift dumpers and in place of ailerons.) were first made by Martin Aircraft around 48' but I cant find a date for the spoilers to be first used at all?
    Cheers,

    Doc.
