Yup, agreed! Social networking at its best. Although it's from a bit longer ago, that vintage shot looks a whole lot like the old hardware/general store near where I was a kid in a very small rural town in northern Michigan.
I remember Crazy Eddie's Fourth of July sales (usually held around Christmastime).
Corvette for sale - - - 50% off.
Love that BIG HAIR!!
Saw this on Netflix 1956 black&white car movie
Thanks Bama Jama but I just reposted Dog's photos. And I agree with you, it's good to see Dog back in the pocket!
Gotta be Ken Miles.
Thank you Dog427435 for posting your assortment of photos. In my view a silent endorsement of the photos many of us have been posting for the past few weeks.
Photos of cars, parades, diners, women, gas stations, planes, trains, ads, art work, astronauts etc.
Yes, that is Brand Blvd in 1952

"Nice photo and not a car insight."
Beg to differ...that dark bump on the horizon in between the landing gear is actually a 1946 Chevy 2-Ton COE...ya just gotta look real close.
Stunning street scene, like many of the cool shots here you can stare at it for ages and wonder where it is and what was going on, awesome nostalgia rush, thanks for posting.
Looks like Gettysburg PA.
Glad you stopped back, Dog.
Good and yup I re-upped recently as well. $$ well spent and good to support a site that provides what it does.
Looks like an O. Winston Link shot, somewhere along the Norfolk and Western Ry. in the late '50's.
Now THAT was fun!!!! Thank you, Dog!
