All of the crews remains were found. One guy had walked an incredible 90 miles thru the desert with no food or water. Everyones shoes were found with notes inside. With fresh batteries, the radios still worked when the plane was found
Thanks for the info.The last that I knew was of two sets of remains were found.That was from the documentary that I saw on TV.

The gt40 prototypes were built 2 years before the Muira. The gt40 was really modeled after the Lola T-70.
The Ford GT was modelled on the Lola GT not T70 ,which came several years later.
This Harley has a B&H footshifter. I bought out all the NOS from the factory

I think this pineapple tank was at Honolulu Harbor, stood for years, not sure it is still there...
