And if the sight of her gets your panties in a bunch, avert your eyes to Anita Pallenberg who was the prettier one of the two anyway.

    No.

What bothers me is arguments and discussions about things that have nothing to do with Traditional Hot Rods or Traditional Customs on this Traditional Hot Rod & Custom Site.

Thank you for this rare shot of 300SL Proto chassis. Indeed: German "Conti" or Belgian "Englebert" shod the 300SL, according to the customer demand.

I love this thread, I hate to say it but I guess I qualify as Vintage now.

    1. My first shoe box.
    2. My first indoor car show with my first 32 Ford.
    3. My Dad, who got me started in my life love of cars.

Could you imagine what the tabloids would be saying today with a picture like this? I wonder how they felt about the skinny look back when it was taken.

I believe it's at the corner of Jerhico Turnpike and route 110 in Huntington, NY. I took a picture of the place in 1972 when I got a new SLR camara. I have been looking for the picture but there are 1000's to go through and in no particular order. This give me the incentive to persue it further.

  25. Actually, it's a 1928 or 1929 Dodge Victory Six.

  26. Interesting
He always called it his 27 dodge convertible
He used to work summers delivering the San Francisco Call Bulletin
. He took the door off the driver side to make hopping out easier. Also in have the title somewhere
    That says 27.
No offense but I'm betting on the guy that owned the car

  29. More than likely, the car was sold/titled in 1927 which then folks would refer to as a 1927. Look up photos of a 1927 Dodge roadster. You will not find one that looks like your Dad's "1927". The 1927 looked nothing like that. Don't mean to be argumentative, but I do know my Dodges. If you notice the curve of the rear fender where it meets the running board, you will see a real difference.....here are the 1927 Dodge roadsters...., but hey....you can believe whatever your Dad told you.
