Wow....Recoil starter is optional. I almost forgot about the "Rope Starter"
WOW, gotta love the grounding straps hanging from the front. Haven't seen those since the early 70's.
I remember they use to do that at the county fair! Even had a pole out front, awwwh the good ole days
Hey all you old Air Force guys. What are those birds flying overhead? My guess straight wing 84's
LOL, I came across my first HAMB advertisement prior to logging in, "Boat Lift Distributor Since 1974". Not only is this ad off topic, it doesn't meet the HAMB's 1965 cut off. Just sayin.
Keep the great posts coming guys.
Somehow, the theme song to the Sound of Music sequel just didn't work well. "The desert's alive, with the sound of music..." didn't cut it.
Frances Fay was a Lesbian ( pretty risque for the time )lounge singer and Milt Trainer still performs in Chicago...
Hey, I got one of those... May have to dig it out. I thought it only whistled. Got it off a 51 chev i used to have...
That's what they look like to me.
Judging by what I can see of the one behind the c-124, it sure looks like F-84s to me.
The planes overhead look to be what we called T 33, I think they were called something else before that.
Yep. F-84 Thunderjets. These are early ones, P-84Bs (later called F[ighter]-84B, as opposed to P[ursuit])
They COULD be F-80's but look more like F-84 Thunferjets to me.
What's the attraction to a lesbian lounge singer? Would I notice?

This is all I could find on an IH D30.They must have made a one off custom body if they fitted it to this chassis.
NO WAY! That same guy is still standing on the porch, even to this day?
Those crashed up cars make me feel ill. Old tin wrecks differently than our modern, today vehicles.
I saw this pic on here a year or so ago and posted it on my facebook page. People went nuts over it and asked the obvious question, what is it. My stepdaughter googled the company name and came up with this.
Notice how they cleared the gravel away from two spots so she could stand in bare feet?
Yeah...Looks like the put a piece of plywood down and then covered it with the gravel. Gotta protect those tender feet.
I don't think lazy, most of us over 60 didn't grow with the PC world and have to learn what to do.
Separate names with a comma.
