Ok eagle eyes, is the '62 the same car as in 78971, just see the rear bumper?

 

you got me there. there are similarities - maybe facial recognition software?
i'm trying to work out order by the roadworks and neighbourhood getting built-up,
and don't think much of my failing eyesight - more OCD pattern-recognition.

Both were taken in Humboldt County, far northwestern California, circa 1958-1960.

The wagon was a hot rod, okay not really, but it was modified. According to my dad, Grandpa swapped in a Chevy stovebolt six... using precision tools - a 12 pound sledge.
