  1. Marmaduke is located in the north east portion of the state, in the Paragould area. It's just a couple miles west of the Missouri state line.

    the cars that follow were all owned by my Uncle through his lifetime he worked for Packard motor Car Co in Detroit he would buy and sell fix them up but would never hang on to them for very long enjoy the pictures I have lots more to post when i get time ....Spackle.... not sure of year [​IMG] 1931 RR[​IMG] 1919 Essex[​IMG] 1912 Rambler[​IMG]

    I think that is a great answer!

    BTW, there was nothing wrong with Edsels with the exception of the steering wheel mounted gear-selector buttons on the auto trans models. I like the '58's, less so the '59's, but the '60's looked great! A '58 Coupe with a 430 Lincoln and a manual trans would be very cool IMHO.

    Yes, the Mark II's were hand built in a special factory and had super high quality features. My dad bought his 4th Lincoln in '55 and we got a special invitation to the introduction of the Mark II at the Beverly Hilton. My mother had no desire to go and he knew I was greatly anticipating this car, so he took me. They had about 5 cars there is different colors, a guy playing music on a grand piano, refreshments, etc. I thought it was very cool. The catch was that the price of the cars was around $12,000 which was about double the cost of a regular Lincoln at the time. My dad wasn't willing to spring for the difference unfortunately.
