World Famous Pasties? Are you kidding me?
Be sure to read "Killing Kennedy" by Bill O'Riely, a good chapter on the "Greek Guy"---A truly amazing book!!!!!!!
Nice! That water heater in the second pic looks "hot rodded" The top and lower covers are cool.
Pasties are awesome if made right, if they are claiming world famous they must be pretty damn good.
I never heard of edible pasties! However, I've seen many that looked good enough to eat!
People always go with the cheap joke, but it's a food more common to areas of the northern US - you'll find them in northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Upper-Peninsula-Pasties
Figured them to be some kind of desert pastry.Turns out it's just a small version of the "meat pies" that's been handed down in my family for generations. Ours are just made in a traditional pie pan the same way a desert pie would be.
Post 55622 the water heater does say supercharged on the front!
