I wonder if this picture was before or after her treason and backstabbing our POW's in North Vietnam. What a total human POS!

Talking about local TV "celebrities", there was Whizzo the Clown (Frank Wiziarde) in KC, who had a couple of shows a day, his own amusement park, and his own bread.

 

And of course everyone in KC watched Torey Southwick and Ol' Gus twice a day. Lot's of cartoon (remember Winky Dink And Me?) and bad jokes (I Love Lucy followed Torey and Friends, and Southwick would end his broadcast, holding a ball, with, "We're going to have a ball, Lucille Ball!")

Thanks, I visited the museum last summer and while it was impressive I could not understand why they didn't use any of the old Studebaker buildings for the museum. I sure hope that beautiful garage/warehouse on Lafayette Blvd in my first picture still stands. It is across the street from the old administration building which is to the right in my second pic. I can't understand the people who demolish these things.
